490 Mandalay Ave, Clearwater Beach, FL 33767
There is not a lot of parking directly in the plaza parking lot. It can fill up quite fast, especially at breakfast. This is definitely something that can easily become problematic in Clearwater Beach. If you haven’t been there before it gets extremely crowded and can be hard to find parking, especially right around this restaurant. We found that you either get there really early or it is ideal if you are staying on the beach or live close and can walk (plus its truly gorgeous to walk around Clearwater Beach).
The kids breakfast menu averaged around $5.95, and were decently sized. There are four options eggs, cereal, pancakes, or french toast. Any of those are winners in our house, especially pancakes or french toast. The meals generally come with bacon or sausage. We ordered a fruit bowl for the kids to share – which was just enough for them both and they ate it up!
For adults they have a really good breakfast variety. You can find crepes, pancakes, omelettes, eggs, bennies, just to name a few items!
Kids Activities & Ambiance
While they had a kids menu on the regular menu there were no activities for the kids.
The restaurant is really laid back and casual. You will see people dressed casually and even many in covered bathing suits. There is seating inside(tables and booths) and outside and if you need a high chair that have them available. It is what you would expect for a place right on the beach!
The bathroom was decent and had a changing table which is a great bonus!
We found our breakfast to be quite enjoyable and pricing about average against other breakfast restaurants. The kids ate their meals up with no complaints- so it has their approval 🙂
While we liked our meals and especially loved the location, I am not sure we would make the drive to just go there. With that said if you live close by or happen to be in the area (and at least enjoy breakfast), we recommend giving them a try!
