The Craft Street in Oldsmar in a fairly quiet shopping plaza and there is always ample parking. The plaza is starting to develop out a little more but from what we are seeing as coming attractions it doesn’t seem that it will impact parking much. There is also enough room to drop people off at the door if you needed. We have come at a variety of times of day and have never had an issue.
You can find a copy of the full menu here, just note that beer selections can vary by location and they also have a brunch menu you can find on their site.
We love the menu here as it takes your basic items and just goes the extra step with them to make them unique and especially delicious. Whatever your mood, they have you covered!
The kids have a separate menu with items like grilled cheese, chicken tenders, mac and cheese and burgers. Kids meals cost $5.95 and come with fries or fruit. We also want to acknowledge our waiters that we have had as they usually ask us if we want the kids meals to come out first. This is such a huge thing for us when a restaurant asks this since as you know the patience of kids (especially when it comes to food) 🙂
Kids Activities & Ambiance
The kids menu is also a coloring sheet- always a great win in the eyes of our kids! The atmosphere is fun with good music playing, a couple tvs in the background with sports events on, and a very friendly staff. There are tables and booths throughout the restaurant and if you need one, highchairs are also available.
The bathrooms at Craft Street Kitchen are done really well. They have two stalls in the Women’s bathroom with the larger one (plenty of room) having a changing station. The one thing I really noticed when in there with my daughter (who is 6) is that the sinks and the soap were at a level that made it really easy for her to reach to wash her hands. It was at a reasonable height for both kids and adults.
We really enjoy the food that we have had. We love starting our meals with the fried buffalo cauliflower and then have worked around the menu to try new things each time. I do have a tendency of going back to the Angry Pig sandwich- great sauce and the fried pickles are always a great touch. Whatever you get though, we recommend the sweet potato tots!
When you look at their menu page on the site you will see they have a brunch menu as well. We have not tried it….yet. I can imagine it is just as delicious as lunch or dinner.
Craft Street Kitchen has done a great job making their establishment welcoming and easy for families. We put them high on our list where you just can’t go wrong!
