Spin & Slice Pizza
4013 Tampa Rd Suite 20, Oldsmar, FL 34677
We have a family tradition of Friday Pizza Nights! We have been doing it for a while and when we lived in North Carolina we had our pizza place that we absolutely loved. Since moving to the area we have really struggled to find a place as good. We have tried several places and so far this is the closest we have found.
Parking didn’t seem like it would be too much of an issue. Mind you, we went before they “really” had a Grand Opening and arrived a little on the early side. There seems to be a decent amount of spots in front but then there are other spots available nearby.
Kids menu is available. Just as a warning if you have two kids they can easily share the kids pizza! It was huge, I am pretty sure it was just an adult small but we made the mistake during our first trip to get them each one…and to say we had leftovers was an understatement (all around).
For the adults they have a wide range of options- not just pizza. Just about all bases are covered here if you are in a mood for Italian. However, if you are looking for pizza you are at the right place. You of course have your options of the more normal pizza toppings and combinations if you would like or if you are feeling like something different, then you can try “pre-designed” ones like a ziti pizza (which we ended up trying).
Kids Activities & Ambiance
Spin & Slice was pretty much what we expected in a pizza restaurant. Plenty of seating- both tables and booths. Highchairs also available for the little ones. There were a couple tvs around as well.
As soon as we were sat down, our waitress brought over coloring books (yes books!) and crayons for the kids. They were pretty much set!
I also have to point out here that they brought out the kids pizza first- this is always a huge selling point to us. It just shows that extra attention from the restaurant and it is something we don’t forget!
Bathrooms were pretty standard and did not have a changing station in them.
We have now eaten here a few times (including doing take out) and have not been disappointed whether it was a ziti pizza or a basic mushroom and sausage. The kids definitely approve which I think we can all agree is half the battle. It will stay on our list and we hope that they continue to see growth from being so new and stick around. They have brought back our Friday Pizza Night from NC!
